Bullet is Jack Dorso's famed radio character from the 1940s radio and film serial Red McGibbon and Bullet: Nazi Hunters. Dorso attempted a solo career without McGibbon in the film Ready, Aim... Marry Me! but it failed to capture audiences. Bullet's catchphrase is "Shoot me!"

While investigating Maggie, Michael references Red McGibbon and Bullet: Nazi Hunters in "Hand to God"

When the Bluth family decided to ask "Uncle" Jack for financial assistance, the narrator gave Dorso's backstory. At Balboa Towers, Jack told Dragon "shoot me!" — Bullet's famous catch phrase — and he was thrown at Buster. ("Ready, Aim, Marry Me")

While investigating Maggie's pregnancy, Michael references Bullet. ("Hand to God")
