Lindsay Bluth Fünke is the sister of Michael, G.O.B. and Buster Bluth, and the adopted and only daughter of Lucille and George Bluth Sr. She is an unsupporting wife to Tobias, perhaps understandably, and generally a terrible mother to Maeby, often forgetting her daughter exists at all. Her relationship with her own mother is hardly a bed of roses, the pair often sniping at each other over meals or mid-afternoon drinks. She perhaps gets on with her twin brother Michael best of all, though these friendlier moments are often short lived. She is unrelentingly self-centered and often throws charity events for humourously monikered organizations for no other reason than to raise and sustain her own public profile. Lindsay's attempts to have an affair with another man - she and Tobias had agreed to try an open relationship in order to save their shambolic marriage - ended in failure, as do most of her inept attempts at flirting with members of the opposite sex, despite her obvious good looks. Every once in a while she does show glimpses of having a heart, and has shown concern for most of the other members of her family. She once had a fling with the actor Thomas Jane, mistaking him for a homeless man when he was in fact researching a role.
