The Bluth family

Arrested Development is a ground-breaking sitcom that originally aired 53 episodes over three seasons from November 2, 2003 to February 10, 2006 on FOX. Since cancellation it has developed a cult following and its popularity has grown - a fourth season was recently released and a film is tentatively planned.

The series follows family man Michael Bluth as he tries to keep his family and business from collapsing after his father George is sent to prison for embezzling money. As the family adjusts from riches to rags Michael helps his mother Lucille keep up appearances, sister Lindsay and brother-in-law Tobias with their failed marriage, son George Michael and niece Maeby through adolescence, and brothers Buster and G.O.B. adjust to working life.

4/22/14 - Mitch Hurwitz has signed a multi-year deal with Netflix to create new original series and consult on other original Netflix programming. No word of a fifth season or a movie yet, but this is a step in that direction! ^[1]

11/19/13 - Music and Songs from Arrested Development — the Official Soundtrack to our beloved series — released on November 19 and includes 42 songs featured over all 4 seasons.

10/23/13 - As the keynote speaker of the New York Television Festival Mitch Hurwitz stuck to his stated goal of making an Arrested Development Movie shortly, followed by a fifth season. ^[2]

9/25/13 - Netflix Chief Content Officer Ted Sarandos says Arrested Development is returning to Netflix "without question." ^[3]
